Long time no see....

So, I am all about starting a new blog and then I don't even keep up with it...what is up with that!!

I see that my last post was in November and that tons has happened since then, but we have seen the holidays come and go...which I am glad about. Although, the kids were happy with all that they received which makes for a happy mom and dad. The Saturday after Christmas Tatem and I traveled with my sister to Illinois to pick up her daughter that was there to celebrate Christmas with her husbands side of the family and visit my other sister that lives there. It was just an over night trip, but it was worth it to just visit with both of my sisters with plenty of laughter going on.

I also had a nice 2 week break from school, but am now back to it with only 3 weeks left of this class. I am praying to survive this class, but currently I feel it is kicking me in the butt due to the amount of information and not completely grasping the whole concept. I will survive...that should be my new theme song as I get closer to graduation!!

Well until next time and hopefully it will be sooner than 2 months from now...have a good one!!

Shopping with the girsl

So..yesterday my sister, niece, Tatem and I went shopping over in Rochester, MN. My intentions were to get some Christmas shopping done for Tatem, we let our kids pick out their own Christmas gifts. This is a tradition from my mom and dad, there are three of us girls and since we all had our own tastes they let us pick out what we wanted once we were teenagers this way we got what we wanted. Anyway..Tatem found tons of stuff and I am pretty much done with her and now it is on to the boys!!

As I said we went shopping with my sister and niece, I just want to say I love my niece to pieces but she is spoiled rotten. She was so crabby while we were shopping if we were in a store she didn't want to be in or if she knew she was not going to get anything while in it. She really wanted to go American Eagle, but we were going up one side of the mall and down the other so she needed to wait until we got to that side. OMG the attitude this girl developed, I wanted to smack her. We finally get there and she left pissed because all she got was two t-shirts, I just can't believe they let her get away with it. Tatem went into this knowing I did not have the money to spend on anything extra and she was totally cool with that, I love that my kids are so respectful when it comes our inability to afford extras.

So, not too sure I want to that again real soon or ever but am glad I got one kidling out of the way.

The first of many....

Well this I am suspecting will be the first post of many as a way to vent, remember, and say just how I am feeling. Although, I don't always have a lot to say or a lot of time to say it I just feel after about 2 years without a blog I am ready to have one again and hopefully maintain it better than before.

A little about myself: I am married to my wonderful husband Tim and have been for 16 years, we have three children: Tyler, 16; Treigh, 15; Tatem, 13. Of course, there are also out 2 dogs Dottie and Chloe.

With a husband, 3 teenagers, work, and school I feel I have no time for myself, but than again I would have it no other way. I have 10 months of school left to go and then maybe life won't be considered crazy anymore!!

Here is hoping to fun times!!
